Then
and Now represents the span of time over which the
tunes were composed. Some were written in the 1920's,
most were written in the 30's, 40's and 50's with
the exception of "Stay" which was written
by Flora Scott. The arrangements are all current having
been done with in the past few years of recording.
Flora selected these tunes to record because she finds
the melodies of the older jazz songs particularly
appealing while the lyrics are still effective and
meaningful by today's standards.

Collage spans an array of jazz styles from swing and
Latin rhythms to ballads and up-beat tempos, from
a variety of writers. Arrangements are all new, by
Joey Smith, Flora Scott and Anita Bonkowski. Flora
wrote the title track, which is a luminous showcase
for her vocal approach.
